28 years of Law Enforcement experience, with a major portion of that investigating persons crimes, specifically death investigations. During Mark's career he has dealt with the families after a suicide has taken place, so he has a unique perspective of the "why" that most do not. He is currently a Commander in Fountain, Colorado where his department responds to many calls for suicidal people, mostly service members and their families. Suicide among police officers is at an all time high and he feels this group can play an extremely important role in the prevention of police officer suicides, and is excited to be a part of that. While suicides are ultimately a personal choice, he believes with the right help they can be prevented.
